Local Ministries
Backpack Ministries
Spring Hill UMC seeks to be generous with our surrounding community and the world. Every year we work with Life Spring Church to fill backpacks full of school supplies for local students who are in need financially. We want every child in the Spring Hill School District to have the tools necessary for success.
Likewise we are able to help families experiencing financial hardship provide Christmas gifts to their children during the Christmas season.

Spring Hill collects non-perishable food items on the first Sunday of every month. This contribution goes directly to the spring Hill food pantry.
We eagerly anticipate our local ministries expanding as the church grows in number and support. We believe that the church should never exist for itself, but for the good of others.

Global ministries
Our global ministry is accomplished through the United Methodist Committee on Relief, or UMCOR. UMCOR’s administrative costs are paid through an alternate revenue source, which means that 100% of donated funds are used directly with communities in need.
Through UMCOR, our local church has answered the needs of people from Japan to Napal, to Haiti, to right in our own backyard in Kansas and Nebraska. For more information visit www.umcor.org
